Energy Management Officer (m/f/d)

Your tasks:

• Implementation of DIN ISO 50 001 in cooperation with the plant management, production and operating technology in the existing management system
• Monitoring, analysing and reporting current energy consumption and developing specific energy indicators
• Planning and implementation of projects to increase energy efficiency and reduce CO₂ emissions in collaboration with plant management, production and operating technology
• Central point of contact for conducting internal and external audits (also for the Hans Freitag Group after extensive familiarisation)
• Active further development of company standards in the area of energy management (funding programmes, emissions trading, subsidies)
• Contact person for authorities, suppliers, customers and internal departments

Your profile:

• Completed engineering studies in the field of electrical engineering, supply engineering, energy technology, process management or corresponding technical training with several years of professional experience.
• Sound experience in the introduction and support of an energy management system
• High level of problem-solving skills, strong communication skills, hands-on mentality and ability to work in a team.
• Affinity for scientific evaluation and enjoyment of analytical thinking.
• Knowledge of standards, guidelines and new developments in the field of energy policy & funding programmes
• Good written and spoken German and English language skills
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office
